St. Anselm (formerly Arena Rock, Mendoza Line, Brooklyn Bowl, and Impose) is one of the original expansion teams when the league grew to 8 teams. Managed by Pete Hoffman, they have been to three league championships, winning once.

 Charmingly nicknamed The Boo Cakes – a reference to a beautiful display of affection between several consenting adults – they are known for their tight defense and perfectly timed offensive explosions. The Boos are one of the most consistent squads in WSL, having only one losing season since 2003. Theme song: “Come Together.”
