Formerly the Yetis, Mugs originally began play back in 2001 as Union Pool but somewhere along the line we were dropped by that sponsor for hanging out around Pizza”s cooler too much instead of the bar. Knowing our nomadic ways and penchant for hanging out at the park we began calling our selves The Yetis so people could keep track of us in the wild at McCarren Park.

We are now Mugs, sponsored by Mugs Ale House.
