 DEVASTATION!

The League was not able suit up for battle this past Sunday!

It left the WSL web staff miffed, as we already had a plethora of zingers prepared…

So in an effort to further procrastinate our lives whilst entertaining the softball masses, we have documented a true account of what we assume each team did to capitalize on their day off!

Told in the medium…of gifs.

3 KINGS

The league’s royalty started off their day by loading on some more tattoos and licking each other…

and then decided to do some mountain biking!

LOGGERS

The Loggers were busy little beavers on Sunday (pun intended) and spent the day in their second home…the forest, procuring some lumber.

With their spoils in tow…they returned to the Burg.

And luckily arrived home just in time for a nice flapjack dinner!

2ND CHANCE

A little weeping was had by the 86ers…

but they took solace in terrorizing the neighborhood!

BROOKLYN BOWL

Brooklyn Bowl wasted no time after hearing the news and immediately got their bull riding on!

followed by many MANY rounds of the most adorable bowling you have ever seen

REEL 2 REEL

The Reelers initially embarked on a day journey up to the mountains for some late season skiing…

but resigned to stay in the neighborhood to practice some jousting!

TURKEY’S NEST

The Nesters attempted to invent additional new sports to compete against each other…

and then all signed up for Camarra’s strange new fitness program!

CLEMERICA

The Battleship got busy running errands and buying groceries…

So they could hold none other than an epic BBQ!

GIBSON

With an empty bar at their disposal, the Gibson team worked on their group dance routine…

while Carly baked some delicious treats for all!

BLACK BETTY

The Bettys got an early jump on summer activities…

while spending some quality time with their families!

GOOD COMPANY

The pinks lost Cesar very early on in the day…

and still managed to get in a round of 18 holes!

AT ALLSTARS

The Allstars predictably got jagger-bombed by 11am…

And things escalated quickly once the drunk tank was running on empty!

SPIKE HILL

The Spike Hillians took a Sunday drive…

up to wine country for some impromptu wine tasting!

RBAR

Mr. Merhaut carried on with his birthday celebrations…

with his teammates, as they made a day of it at Pumps amateur hour!

TURKEY’S TEACHERS

The teacher’s attempted to get in some practice throws during their weekend class time.

SOFT SPOT

The Yetis used the day off as an opportunity to bathe the radioactive McCarren dirt off them…

and elected to spend the day together at the mall!

PETE’S CANDY STORE

As for Pete’s Candy Store, they took it easy on Sunday…

and basked in the lovely afternoon!

PRAY TO THE SOFTBALL GODS FOR SOMEONE TO FIX THE FIELDS BY THIS WEEKEND!

Toodles,
