WSL Home Run Rule
This is the rule for a HR as per the Commissioner: A home run should be categorized as a ball hit beyond the outfielders without them touching it. If it’s a line drive that cleanly goes through (splits the outfielders), fine. Takes a bad hop and cleanly misses an outfielder, fine. But by no means should a home run be a ball that is dropped, kicked, deflected, thrown all around the field and it should also not involve a play at any base other than home. If the outfielder tries to peg the guy at third and overthrows allowing him to score: not a homer.
