Make-Up Game Week – Last Week! – Preview

Sat, Sep 8, 2012

This is the only picture we’ve got this week. Enjoy.

This is it! The final week of regular season play officially ends with a make-up day for a bunch of us. Since we’ll all be back for the first round of the play-offs, I’m not really going to make that big of a deal about it.

11 am

Clementines @ Soft Spot – Okay, field two, I’m callin’ this one…If the Yeti’s win Breeze has to roast a pig at the Soft Spot for everyone. If Clem’s wins, Pizza has to admit, for the first time in history, that the opposing team won the game fair and square.

The Loggers are on a downward spiral but have one last chance for a pick-me-up on field one vs PCS before heading into the postseason!  They didn’t fair well against the Candystore in week five ,and if Pete’s takes this one than BL will drop to the #14 seed. But they’re not worried because Jen10 is off this weekend and apparently ready to raise hell! I hope she’s terrorizing the Clambake at Pete’s post game day!

RBar won’t be throwin’ back those Andy Mac Dirty South beers yet, they’ll be saving that shit for the play-offs. Even so, Bums vs Betties get the Game of the Week! (I know, I know…but it really is!) If Betty falls to the Bums and Good Co beats out 3 Kings the pinks could very well steal that #2 spot if they can keep those Kings from scoring too many runs. Either way, neither Good Co or Betty will have to face the defending champs until the Championship if they can get there. With the South all so close, the seeding will have to wait til Monday to see where they all land. 2nd-4th places are still all up for grabs in that division.

Spike Hill is on a no game winning streak coming into their season closer with Gibson. (smirk) Its a preview of the first round for these two in the play-offs. Yup, we get O’Malley two weeks straight. Lovely.

AT and the Teachers scrimmage on field one then stay on to heckle the 5PM game. Editors Note: Wait…the Teachers were short so nevermind.

Turkey’s Nest and 2nd chance scrimmage on field two and immediately leave for Mugs & The Nest which will be completely packed with assholes for week #1 of the NFL. Me included. Another Editors Note: Wait…2nd Chance is short players too, so nevermind this.

Last Editors Note: OK, shit, it’s now AT vs. Turkey’s Nest @3pm for a friendly. Got it?

A practice scrimmage for Reel 2 Reel and ‘Doza on field one that we don’t really care about.

Finally, last regular game of the season goes to Good Co and 3 Kings on field two. Good Co has a chance to finish off their season strong vying for that #2 seed. Cesar’s last chance to move up to a visible spot on the HR leader board. 3 Kings only lost to ‘em by 2 earlier this season, so keep your eyes on his one. Melissa stop rolling yours.

Pack up quick and head on over to Pete’s for the 2nd seating of the Rhode Island Crab and Clam boil where yours truly will be Chowin’ down before making my way to 4th Down to laugh in everyone’s face watching Peyton score me a butload of Fantasy Points against the Tebowed out of the play-offs Steelers D!
