2012 WSL Championship Weekend – Preview

Thu, Sep 27, 2012

Well this is it. The last chance we get to complain and insult one another, talk behind one anothers backs and drink each others beers until we are hugging, lining up shots and telling each other how much we love one another and finally crying that the season is over until we wake-up like what the fuck happened last night?!

Before we begin our 2012 Championship Weekend Preview, let’s take a walk down memory lane at the past seven years in the WSL in a segment produced by Morgan Oughton titled “WSL Hall of Champions.”

And now onto the 2012 Final Four!!
GOOD CO. – SPIKE HILL – BLACK BETTY – REEL 2 REEL

JB$ is in championship form and chick shorts!

ALL GAMES BEGIN AT 12PM

Good Co and Black Betty face off for a run to the big dance! Who’s it going to be? Can Holland possibly let another championship opportunity slip through his greedy little fingers? Will JoElle remember what time to show up?  Will EJ even be in the same country? Who can make more awe inspiring plays, Camarra or Stacy? Will Jesse be hungover or still drunk? I can’t believe that Benny, the only man I’d take betting advice from, didn’t fill out a bracket. Well, some things we do know is there will be dancing on the Betty bench, Supe will be in a good mood, and no way will Cesar go three and out in BP. Like Pluff always says, “I don’t mind wearing Pink, but I’d hate to be the guys who lost to the guys in Pink.” Like Camarra always says, “That’s gay.”

Leo quenches the WSL Trophy’s thirst!

Jakey Poo and The Spike Hill crew are looking for the repeat, while Reel 2 Reel looks deeeeeeep. Like a 30 man roster deep! They’ll amazingly beat Spike in that department, fo sho.

SH sounds like they pretty much think they’ve got the lock on the 2012 season, which really must piss Mark off, which really must make O’Malley smirk while reading this and sipping his Chardonnay, which really must make Andrew LOL, which really must make Sparkles think..wtf is this bitch talking about? Samson’s bracket has Spike Hill advancing to the ‘Ship as the stone-cold lock on the season. Shortz’ cats beg to differ.

Will & the Skippah take their team to the finals for the last time!

CHAMPIONSHIP 2:30PM

Yes, at last! The big game, the dance, the whole enchilada, the Championship Game that we’ve played 20 something weeks for, will commence at 2:30pm. The winner of Black Betty – Good Co. will face off against the winner of Spike Hill – Reel2Reel. All clubs have storied pasts. Enids, the only team to go 19-0. Black Betty with their 5 straight championships.

The dudes from Good Co. look to bring the heat!

Reel2Reel has been to the big game twice, but has yet to win it all, and now the upstart Spike Hill winning it all last year and posting an impressive record of 17-1. This is a fantastic Final Four and Championship weekend! Any of these teams could be the champs! Don’t forget also about the End of Season Party that will commence EXACTLY at 5pm at Good Co. with our world famous BBQ Chef from Clems, Breezy.

When the McCarren dust clears…there can be only one.
