Wow, we are already at the end of round one of our interdivision play! We had last weekend off, so I don’t have much to poke fun at in this preview or any pictures to post. Shut-up and deal with it.

Pete’s is up against a smokin’ hot Black Betty. Despite a loss last week, (They were short players in case you’ve gone def and haven’t heard) Betty leads the league in runs and would probably top the HR Leader board if Mike Camarra would ever send in the updates! The Candy Store needs a win here to break .500. In the North, 3 Kings is having a little trouble at the plate this season, knocking in only 38 runs and Good Co is tough on D, so this is the time for the Kings to make a statement. Just a heads-up, pink peeps. I will probably not make this game so please shoot me an email if EJ does anything worth noting.

Clems finally collected their 2nd W last week after a drought that reached back to opening day. This is a good match-up with RBar. This should be a fun game on field 1 if you’re wondering where to finish off those early game coolers. I’m predicting a close one if both clubs show up to play. R2R has started to roll in the right direction in the North and will be looking to extend their winning streak to three, however 2nd chance had a couple of strong outings in the last couple of weeks and are inching closer and closer that first victory.
3PM
This is a big division game for the Loggers, they’ve only won two, but so has the majority of the South. I mean, seriously? BL is in a many-way tie for 3rd Place. A win could put them up with the Big Boys! If Soft Spot can’t top ‘em they’ll be in a very uncomfortable .333 position heading into our cross division games. Let’s see if The Yeti’s can work out the kinks this weekend. Over on field two, it’s: Gibson vs Spike Hill. Hahahahaha! Oh Brother.
5PM
The Turkey’s Teachers have a firm hold of the South division stepping into week seven’s game with The Mendoza Line. This is absolutely the Game of The Week, and not only because we missed each other so much that no one is going to want to go home. The Teachers are on a 4 game winning streak and haven’t lost since that rain-out, including a big win over Black Betty last week. Mendoza has their work cut out for them. Closing out the day we have AT @ The Nest , on field 2, and who likes attention more than these two teams?? So, I’m not giving them any.
