Week 2 – Recap

Fri, Apr 8, 2011

Here’s the re-cap for the week 2. We’ll try to get these out a bit earlier in the week!

Starting off the day, The Soft Spot Yeti’s (UP) went on a run in the late innings to beat out the RBar Bums in a really close one. Meanwhile Spike Hill clobbered the Gibson. Then the Loggers, off to a slow start this season, took a spanking from Reel 2 Reel. In the 3pm slot The Nest beat-up on 2nd chance to improve to 2-0 and the AT/Betty game came down to the wire with Black Betty taking another one run loss. The brand new & improved 3 Kings couldn’t contend with The Phantom (now Good Company) both clubs move to 1-1.

If anyone wants to write a re-cap of their game, with pictures, and all that stuff, just send it to me and I’ll get it up!

And, If you haven’t done so, don’t forget to update your team page with contact info, logo’s, photos, motto’s and anything else you’d like to add.

Also – We have some new sponsors for teams in the league. Enid’s, which was Phantom, is now sponsored by Good Company! Looks like most of their info is updated on the scheduling and standings, we’ll work on updating their logos and imagery.
AND Union Pool is now officially Soft Spot. All their schedule and standings info is updated.
So, if you see those two names they aren’t new teams, just new names.

– Carly
